E-cigarette and vaping use poses significant health risks, especially to children, teenagers and pregnant women, and can lead to addiction and other serious health problems. To this end, in order to protect the health of citizens, especially the younger generation, it was decided to implement Article 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code, prohibiting the sale, storage and use of e-cigarettes for 60 days.
The order completely bans the sale of e-cigarettes and vaping devices to individuals under the age of 21 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. In addition, the sale, storage and use of e-cigarettes and atomizers are prohibited within 50 meters of all educational institutions.
