U.S. court dismisses lawsuit filed by NJOY

A California court in the United States recently dismissed a lawsuit filed by Altria Group's e-cigarette subsidiary NJOY against multiple disposable e-cigarette manufacturers, distributors and retailers.

NJOY filed the lawsuit in October last year. The company claims the companies named in the lawsuit are selling illegal products in the United States. NJOY demands that the import and sale of these illegal products be banned in the United States and that it be paid compensation. Companies charged include manufacturers and distributors of Breeze, Elf Bar, Esco Bar, Flum, Juice Box, Lava Plus, Loon, Lost Mary, Mr. Fog and Puff Bar. Their products account for the majority of the U.S. disposable e-cigarette market.
