Oliva launches "Year of the Dragon" limited edition cigars in China's duty-free stores

Nicaragua-based Oliva Cigar Company has partnered with China Duty Free Group (CDFG) to launch a limited edition "Year of the Dragon" premium cigar series.

The suggested retail price is $35 per cigar, or $350 per box (10 cigars). The product is limited to 1,500 boxes and is expected to be available in mid-February.

Each box has a dragon pattern to show respect for the dragon and the spirit of the Chinese New Year.

Year of the Dragon is produced in Church Hill at the Oliva factory in Esteli, Nicaragua and features an Ecuadorian Havana sun-grown wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan filler.

Oliva Cigars Export Manager Thomas Gleason said in a press release: "We are delighted to partner with Zhongfa Group to launch Oliva Dragon Year Churchill cigars to celebrate the Chinese New Year. This limited edition series is our commitment to quality and a true expression of craftsmanship.”

"We have carefully curated this product to provide cigar lovers with a unique and culturally significant cigar experience, making it a must-have for collectors and enthusiasts."
