Recently, Nepal’s capital Kathmandu banned the sale of tobacco products.
Kathmandu health department chief Ram Prasad Paudel said the ban applies to all tobacco products packaged in plastic, including cigarettes and bidis. According to reports, local government departments plan to take similar measures against hookah in the next step.
