Recently, according to Utusan reports, a Malaysian member of parliament promised that if the government seriously introduces the Public Health Tobacco Control Bill 2023 (RUU) in the House of Commons, the opposition will fully support and approve the bill.
MP Ahmad Fadhli Shaari said the bill needs to be introduced immediately for the welfare of the next generation. He also said the government did not need to bow to pressure from anyone who disagreed with the introduction of the bill.
