A recent survey by British data company LDC showed that the number of e-cigarette specialty stores in the UK has increased significantly. There are currently 3,573 e-cigarette stores in the UK, 233 more than at the beginning of 2023.
LCD's data excludes convenience stores, post offices and newsagents, which also sell e-cigarettes and related products.
According to statistics, sales of e-cigarette products in the UK increased by 897.4 million pounds year-on-year in 2023 (1 pound is approximately RMB 9.03). The fastest growing e-cigarette brand is Lost Mary, whose sales increased by 310 million pounds in 2022. The UK market for traditional tobacco products shrank last year. Sales of cigarettes and loose tobacco fell by £849.1 million and £393.1 million respectively.
