Illicit cigarettes account for about a quarter of Ukraine’s cigarette market

The latest Ukrainian research report shows that illegal cigarettes account for about a quarter of the Ukrainian cigarette market. It is estimated that the Ukrainian government will lose more than $600 million in tax revenue in 2023 due to the illegal cigarette trade.
