Argentine Electronic Cigarette Association calls for repeal of e-cigarette ban

The Argentine Electronic Cigarette Association recently called on the government to repeal the e-cigarette ban.

Starting from May 6, 2011, Argentina banned the import and sale of e-cigarettes, as well as the advertising of e-cigarettes.

The Argentine Electronic Cigarette Association said the ban violated the personal freedoms of Argentine adults. Currently, the smoking rate in Argentina is 24.5%, which is one of the countries with the highest smoking rate in the world.
